California Roadtrip Part 2: Winding up in San Francisco
It was going to rain only after a few days after being in Yosemite. John and I were devastated because all we could if it did rain would be hide in our tents until the rain stopped (boooo) .. so we followed the roadsigns to San Francisco!! MY FAVE PLACE in California! We arrived at night and turned in to a hotel. Fresh hot showers and crisp sheets were aaahhhhmazing after two days of camping. The next day we went to grab brunch only a quick walk away from the hotel, had our favorite coffee (blue bottle..wish I had some right now!) and headed to the Flower Gardens to wander around and “smell the roses”. It was 75 degrees that day. Ahh just thinking of it makes me smile. It’s not often I get to enjoy this city with such amazing weather. So happy we did a spur of the moment detour up the coast! Best spontaneous road trip to date.
It was so hot we headed to the beach and took in the view of the golden gate. I have seen this a thousand times and It never gets old. Seeing from the beach with my bare feet in the sand was definitely a new experience for me.
