Leather Jacket : 3 ways

There’s been a little cold front here in San Diego and I’ve once again busted out this Forever 21 jacket. Kind of nice to be able to wear it so close to Summer! I just realized I wear this all. the. freaking. time. Yeah.. I have pretty much ignored all other jackets I own.  I might as well sell them. This is f21 though,so I’m just waiting for it to wear down and I will have to get a new one probably sooner than later. What I love about a good light weight leather jacket like this one is that you can wear it all year round like I have and in so many different ways. Here are only  three ways (because you know I have actually worn it more like 100 diff ways)  that I wore my leather jacket.

1. With Joggers, a crop top and some printed heels. I love this look because you are comfy yet  leather jackets instantly make anything look chic (if you find the right cut for you). Also, I feel its more unexpected than your average outfit (ie, jeans and a leather jacket). I wore this on a chilly date with John and wore a crop top, leopard pumps and red lips for a flirtier feel.  Details: here

2. This look is ideal for transitioning from cold to warmer days. I wore the leather jacket over a lace mini dress which is perfect for hot summer days. It was still cold so I also wrapped a flannel around my waist in case it got even chillier. Really in SD you never know.. light simple layers are always safer. I kept this look a bit edgier and paired it with chunky heels and sheer over the knee socks. Details: here

3. I wanted to be more unexpected here so I found this adorable white fur skirt (crazy  but in a good way) and contrasted it against the quilted leather jacket. I love how fun this is! It’s like wearing a bunny around my waist which sounds like a bad idea but somehow I think this worked out. I felt really prissy so I added some bad ass shoes (they mean business) and a beanie. I thiknk any textured or interesting mini skirt works amazingly well with a leather jacket. Such an easy and always on point pairing. Details : here
