Swimsuits for your body type
I am an expert in buying bikinis!! I’m kind of obsessed with them. I wouldn’t mind spending my money on bikinis instead of clothes… #guilty! I took some photos while I was in Cabo, Mexico, chilling by the pool in my favorite Triangle Bikini and ZeroUV sunnies (ehem..$10?) Seriously, I’m all about this brand! I thought it would be fun to do a Swimsuit for your body type guide with this post I am not an expert in knowing what swimsuit work for what body but Google is. I did a bit of searching and reading here and there and even found out this bikini I am wearing in the photos makes my shoulders looks broader than they are and I should be staying away from strappy triangle tops if I want to make my shoulders look narrower. I don’t care though… I love it so much and the shoulder thing doesn’t bother me too much. Anywho, here is what I found is the best swimsuit for each body type. Just a few pointers and things to help you show off your best self!
SMALL BOOBS: If you are smaller chested and want to increase the size go for feminine tops. Anything with rouching, padding, ruffles, prints, gathering and feminine prints. Avoid bandeau tops which will just flatten your chest more.
BIG BOOBS: For those of you who have trouble keeping your goods where they should be, look out for tops with full coverage to avoid messy nip slips or too much bouncing around. Look for bikinis or bathing suits with thicker straps, under-wire bras, solid colors (so the prints don’t make you look distorted). Avoid strappy bikinis with no support.

BROAD SHOULDERS: Yup, that’s me! Broad shoulders can make women look boxy so the best bet is to focus on making you look more proportioned. A good asymmetrical cut bikini can help! Try wearing cute bottoms with pretty details (print, cutouts…etc) to draw attention to your hips and away from the shoulders. High-waisted bikinis are super flattering for this kind of body as they bring the attention down and make legs look longer. Avoid strapless swimsuit tops and triangle tops (oops.. I can’t stay away from those!).

SMALL BOOTIE: This is where you might want to get a big scandalous if you have a flat or small bootie. Small bottoms, strappy sides, a little cheek coming out, ruching, frills, loud prints..anything to distract from the small bottom proportions. This is where you can have fun with your bikini! Before I started working out I had the tiniest bumm bum. I would seriously rock the rouched cheeks and prints. Avoid: sporty bottoms (like brief cut) in solid prints unless they are flattering silhouettes with crazy cut outs or feminine details.
BIG BUTT: If you have a bigger and fuller behind you definitely don’t want to be worrying about showing too much or re-adjusting every two seconds. Solid prints on the bottom balanced with printed tops helps draw the eye up. Black is always flattering so any black solid print bottom is idea. Avoid stringy bottoms, rouching, and brazilian cut bottoms.

ATHLETIC BUILD: Most people with this type of body have a square figure with less curves. If this is you look out for anything that is girly, frilly, padded, stringy and pay attention to details. Avoid bandeau tops, boy briefs or boring full suits.
LOVE HANDLES: Sometimes love handles make people think they can only do bikinis that keep everything nicely tight and in place… luckily now a days the high waist bikini is more popular than ever. Perfect for hiding those annoying love handles. Anything that is very low cut and even high waist bikinis that don’t extend above belly button.
