I really haven’t been buying kimonos lately just because I feel they are everywhere and there are only few that truly have that “vintage” feel. I found this white fringed kimono at Johnny Was Clothing (which is just a dream for boho lovers btw.. I recommend seeing the store in person) and loved the burnt velvet pattern and slightly sun bleached tint to it. This is the first one that I have spent this much money on but I feel it was worth every penny. Looking at these photos makes me want to go somewhere warm asap. What do you guys think? Are you guys still into Kimonos?  Although they are super trendy I feel that the right one just feels so good.

This is a beautiful kimono! The burnout velvet detail makes it really special.
I liked kimonos when they first came out, but now that I see them everywhere, I kind of lost interest. But, I recently just found these beautiful burnout velvet kimonos in all different colors on Shantique Designs. Unfortunately, they are over my budget 🙁 Who knows, I may cave. They have that vintage look to them, and seem like something I can keep in my closet for years. I’m going to have to check out Johnny Was Clothing—sounds like it is right up my alley! xx

Kimonos are EVERYWHERE right now and I’m kind of over them but anything from Johnny Was is the best in my opinion. Great look and those rings of yours…Oh Em Gee. I’m def ready for some warmer weather!
