Styling Tip: Wear Monochromatic Outfits

Styling Tip: Wear Monochromatic Outfits

It’s been a bit too long since I have posted a styling tip for you guys. Todays styling tip is to wear monochromatic looks. Some of my absolute favorite look I have worn are Monochromatic. I don’t always get a chance to post them but sometimes on my off duty days I love to just throw an all black or all white look. All grey is also another fave of mine.
I’ve been wearing a lot of head to toe winter whites lately and always love how it looks. I think the trick is to not worry that it is all be the exact same shade of “white” or any other color. As long as it all flows and works well together (a.k.a. “same color palette”) you are in the clear. Some people might think this look can be boring but the trick is to mix textures and fabrics. That always helps create more depth. I’ve even read that wearing one color from head to toe actually makes you look slimmer and taller. I will never say no to anything that makes me look taller.
