Classic Chanel Jacket
A classic Chanel jacket is something I always wanted. I just never found that perfect one. This Chanel jacket caught my eye with the sheer layered panels it has on the cuffs. Just the right touch of detail. I love pairing it with rougher unexpected pieces a la Alexa chung like these ruffed up jeans.
I have a bad habit of getting anxious, pulling out the first jeans I see and ripping them up. No seriously, whenever I get bored of some jeans I let out all my frustration on them or maybe in a moment of desperation from not finding the right cut of jeans I start cutting creating my own.
(sidenote: These jeans were sliced open at the knee minutes before leaving my house to the airport when I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t like them. Months later I cut off the bottom to give it that unfinished frayed look that looks amazing with heels. It’s interesting that the jeans that I end up tearing apart always end up being my favorite and often the ones I get the most compliments on.)
Ok, enough ranting. The important part of this outfit is not the jeans, but instead the Chanel jacket that I paired the jeans with. This little black Chanel jacket is such a gem! I think any girl in love with fashion needs to have a LBCJ in their closet. It makes any look (like dirty white sneakers and ripped jeans) look instantly chic. A good Chanel jacket will never go out of style. Of course, white sneakers that actually looked white instead of brown would be nice but, I can’t help it… I’m too much of a tomboy to keep those clean! Coco Chanel would be proud (or atleast i’ll just tell myself that).
Just wanted to share this look with you guys, I’m waking up extra early tomorrow to get started on some fun new projects. Thanks for stopping by! You know I love you!
