If you follow me along on Instagram you already know I spent my weekend frolicking around the desert. I have so many photos to look through but I wanted to post these up soon for a little festival fashion inspiration asap incase some of you are heading to Weekend 2 or planning for the next festival.
Girls go cray picking out their looks for festivals and honestly I think some people spend waayyy too much money on it. I might splurge on a one of a kind kimono or jewelry for a festival or some killer shoes, but really there’s no need to spend more than you need to. Especially since tickets are already ridiculously priced. I try to be smart about how much I spend on an outfit. If I splurge on one part of the outfit, I always try to mix and match by pairing something a bit more expensive or higher end with something more affordable like a thrifted find, something I already own or something from F21.
So, I wanted to show you guys a good way to do festival fashion and teamed up with Forever 21 to put together a couple F21 affordable “not break your bank” outfits. I picked out statement pieces that would go well paired with other items from my closet and planned my looks around them. A black fringed suede vest (screams festival all over.. duh couldn’t resist), a long white duster that I was dying to wear as a dress, but instead wore it open over jean shorts and a tee with some Ysl sandals I already own and a blush hued pink bell sleeved top paired with tiny denim shorts that I then paired with some of my own accessories ( a statement silver Child of Wild necklace and Rebecca Minkoff fringe bag).
