Blue jeans and a white tee is always a success, but the key to this look is all in how you flip it. Adding your favorite statement shoes or some funky glasses makes all the difference and gives this classic look your personal spin. In this case I accessorized with my favorite bright blue heels (Aquazzura), some bright red lips and a vintage army jacket. The military trend always comes back and this army jacket was one of my smartest and most favorite buys. I’ve worn this jacket so many ways with different styles and different occasions (also styled here).
I always have fun mixing and matching old used and abused pieces from my closet to create fresh new looking outfits. I swear these combos are always the ones that stand out the most and the best part is I didn’t have to spend any mullah. Ok, I just got deja vu from writing that… I know I have definitely said that here before. It’s just always a winner in my books.
If you are thinking of investing in a new fun statement piece I would go for a vintage army jacket like this one which I happen to have hunted and found in an army surplus store for $70. It was so worth rummaging through all those old piles of army clothes.
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Now if you will excuse me, I have to go back to scream singing the intro song to my Gilmore Girls marathon I’ve been indulging in. Re-living my high school days / teenage emotions right now. Have you heard there is going to be a reunion ??? #DYING .
