Backstage Tadashi Shoji with MAC #NYFW
The second day of NYFW I headed backstage at Tadashi Shoji with MAC. The clothes were purely stunning ! Romantic flowy perfection with lots of soft fabrics. Lace, feathers and pretty much anything you need to star in your own fairy tale. Oh yeah. All that good stuff. The collection was finished off with the beautiful creamy Makeup by MAC. One thing I really liked about this makeup is how the artist used throughout the face. The same lip gloss was used on both the lips and the eyes giving that extra creamy glossy look. It was so simple and fresh.
I’m not a huge beauty “in the know” person. Honestly, I just do what ever is the easiest/less hassle, but I’m gonna go ahead and take this tip from MAC and use the same lip gloss for my eyes and use less products if I can (luckily they gave me one of those palettes they used for this show so I can try it out and see if it works for me). Well see how that goes! Could be a huge disaster being I’m not a pro.
I wore a shirt and trousers set from House of Harlow 1960 x Revolve.I felt like I had just rolled out of bed and into the comfiest yet chicest silky pijamas. That Nicole Richie… So hot right now. Or eh.. ALWAYS hot, duh. She can do no wrong. Even her purple hair made me want to cut my hair and follow her lead (although that would have been a fatal mistake, let’s face it… I’d look like a man with short hair and that’s not really my vibe). I digress.
I paired this set with some velvet Sam Edelman heels that I bought right before heading to Fashion Week. Definitely a good buy seeing that Velvet is huge this Fall. What do you guys think of this look? Did any of you catch the Tadashi show??
