Holiday dressing for the girl that’s always cold

Holy Shitake was it cold this day!! So so cold that I had originally planned on wearing this dress without the pants underneath, but as I stepped outside I realized WoAHHH ok, no way in hell am I going bare down there. It was way way too cold. And by cold I mean 40 degrees up in the mountains (yes Im a baby, and yes I am freaking out of how cold it will be in San Fran when we go this month). As you can tell, me and Mr. cold don’t mix very well. Maybe It’s because I don’t have the appropriate clothes. Actually, I’m pretty sure thats why. Either way, I love how this holiday inspired outfit turned out! Definitely a cute outfit to wear out into town, to a bar or to hang with friends during the Holidays. Free People can do no wrong especially when they bring in the crushed velvet holiday dresses!
This dress is actually worn backwards. Not a huge difference except that the lower part front was supposed to be a low cut back and the slit was meant to be worn in the front I kinda like how the lace peaks out in the front with the low cut top and the glimpse of leather pants only shows in the back. It’s more unexpected to me this way. If you wanted to dress this up a bit more for a fancier type of event, you could throw on some heels, get rid of the jacket (wear a nice coat) and some glad accessories!. What do you think? Would you wear this?
How as everyones weekend? I had fun hosting an event at JCPenney here in San Diego (will share that with you soon) and spent the day yesterday in LA visiting my friends over at Revolve and grabbing lunch with mom (you can catch it on my instastories on Instagram). Excited for this busy week and all the Holiday festivities to come!
