Exploring Sedona with L’auberge de Sedona

For years I had been drooling over the picturesque backdrop of Sedona with its rich red and orange colors. I’ve never seen anywhere else in the world that looks quite like this. I definitely saved about 1000 Pinterest images from Sedona over the years and was dying to go. While I’m so happy I finally got to visit I was sad I couldn’t stay even longer because it was so beautiful and there is so much to see and do! We were able to go on a few small trails and head into the desert early in the morning and we also got to shoot some fun photos with the Sedona backdrop and wander around.

We touched down in Sedona on the last leg of our road trip. We had checked out Utah already (see “Exploring Utah” post here) and stopped in Sedona on the way home to San Diego. We stayed two nights and one full day. We collaborated with a beautiful hotel called L’auberge de Sedona, which hosted us during our stay. Pretty much the cutest hotel ever. We got our own little cottage which had two suites and a combined room where we were welcomed with wine and cheese (my fave). L’auberge de Sedona was right next to this beautiful creek which ran along side the hotel. The most relaxing, peaceful hotel ever. Also, the outdoor shower was amazing for rinsing off after running around in the dirt all day. Thanks L’auberge for the amazing stay! Seriously can’t wait to go back. If you ever head to Sedona check out this amazing resort right in the center of Sedona .

Stay tuned for my vlog #fvdiaries from Sedona. Will post as soon as I get time to edit it! In the meantime you can check out this video recap below:
