What I did + What I wore : LONDON
Hey FV Fam! Writing to you with a huge coffee in hand as I fight some very real jet lag. I just got back from visiting London with some friends and it was so great to be back in the UK. It was amazing but way too quick of a trip! My friend Audrie Storme, her husband Raleigh and I went to explore and spend some time abroad together. I wish I had more time there because there is just so much to see and do in that city!
I took these new Wilton Sofft shoes in Steel Grey with me. They paired seamlessly with all my London outfits. This brand never fails me while traveling (wore them all over Italy also! See Italy post here). These boots are perfect for a city-chic look. The whipstitching trims add the cutest detail and they are designed with stretch goring for additional
comfort. Ideal for walking around the city. Although, I did make the rookie mistake of wearing them for the first time ever on this trip (who am I even?? ). I really should have broken them in before, but even so, I was surprised that I got no blisters at all. Nope, Zero, Zilch, NADA! My feet were exhausted from all the walking (super achy of course) but hey, no blisters with a first time wear of walking everywhere?? Not too shabby ey? I wore them again once I got to Paris and my feet adjusted perfectly by then.
I wore these booties with comfy ripped hem jeans, sweaters and even with a midi silk skirt one day. Shop all my outfit details here:
In case you have any future plans to travel to London, here are a few things we did while visiting.
Coffee Shop we tried out:
- Over Under (Yummy lattes with Oat milk mmmm)
- Shoreditch Grind (also cute for cocktails)
Vintage shops I went to that I really enjoyed:
- Vintage Market (Thurs-Sat) in Shoreditch
- Rockit Vintage in Shoreditch
The Restaurant we loved:
- Jamie Olivers: we ate on the roof and it was adorable + absolutely delicious. Also, they have Aperol Spritz … just saying.
Cute areas you have to see (there are so many adorable areas but these were my favorite):
- Shoreditch
- Notting Hill
