The Cutest Spots to Caffeinate in LA
The Cutest Spots to Caffeinate in LA
If it’s one thing Los Angeles knows how to do, it’s cafés. LA has some of the coolest coffee shop concepts I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re looking for a spot to get some work done at or a place to catch up with a friend over matcha, there’s a spot for everyone. As someone who works out of coffee shops on the reg, finding an aesthetically pleasing place with good caffeinated drinks and food is a must (tips for working from home in my last post here).
Here’s a list of all my favorite spots to caffeinate (& snap a cute photo) in LA.
CHA CHA MATCHA ABBOT KINNEY

NYC’s hottest matcha spot just landed in LA with locations in West Hollywood and Venice (Abbot Kinney just opened last week!) Cha Cha Matcha partnered with Virgil Abloh, men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton, to design the space so you already know how insta-worthy it is. Think lots of pink, pretty matcha drinks and tropical decor for the ultimate photo opp.

CONSERVATORY

Conservatory is actually a new West Hollywood restaurant and bar, but they have the cutest outdoor café with Parisian-style seating and marble tabletops. They have everything from cold brew to Mexican Hot Chocolate to Matcha.
Go there: 8289 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046
BLUESTONE LANE

Bluestone Lane is the cutest Aussie inspired café and flower shop. They have a bunch of insta worthy drinks like Golden Milk and Beet Lattes. The food is also really good with tons of healthy options.
Go there: 176 South La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036
PARAMOUNT COFFEE PROJECT

PCP is a cool, non-overplayed spot for coffee and a quick bite. They also just opened their second location in DTLA. As the name states, this is a spot for coffee lovers, though they do serve tea and a delicious House Chai Latte. The best spot for a photo is definitely the back patio!
Go there: 456 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036
CAFÉ FLORA

Café Flora at the Mansur Gavriel store on Melrose Place blew up on Instagram last summer and still remains one of the prettiest cafes on the west side. Totally worth it just for a photo with the cute pink and floral backdrop.
Go there: 8475 Melrose Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90069
LA TROPEZIENNE
If you’re missing France or feel like being transported to France, La Tropezienne is the spot! Sure they serve coffee, but you’re really coming here for the French pastries and Parisian café vibe.
Go there: 211 South La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036
THE ASSEMBLY

The Assembly is a hidden gem in West Hollywood. It has a cool, minimal design and is a great spot for meeting a friend or getting some work done. Definitely try one of their pretty donuts!
Go there: 634 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
CARRERA CAFE

Another popular café in West Hollywood is Carrera Cafe. Here you can get Ryan Gosling’s face or your name printed on your coffee! It also has one of LA’s most photographed walls, which changes every month.
Go there: 8251 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
VERVE
