Transitional sheer + Denim outfit in Downtown San Diego

Hola!

It’s been a minute since I posted an outfit post so here’s a fun transitional sheer + denim outfit I wore the other day in San Diego. As per usual, the weather has been kind of fickle. One day it’s hot, the next it’s chilly, but this weather always makes dressing super fun because you can combine fun unexpected pieces together. I saw this skirt on the J.ing site and immediately wanted to play dress up in it! I guess you are just never too old for playing dress up right? To keep it edgy, I paired this sheer skirt with a tied up white tee and a cropped repurposed denim jacket. This skirt is completely sheer so I threw on some stretchy shorts underneath and kept some sporty sneakers on. Love this mix of textures!

I also wanted to share a few new gifted pieces that have been in heavy rotation as of late:

The first piece is this black ‘Eloise’ Angela Roi Vegan leather bag. I have been wearing it non stop as my go-to everyday bag ever since I got it in the mail. This pebbled leather is not real leather and still is such beautiful quality. I’ve been getting so many compliments on it! People are so surprised when I mention its vegan. My favorite part is the detachable colored straps they sell on the site. It originally comes with a long black crossbody, but I loved the pop of muted pink for spring/summer contrasted with the black.

The second piece is a chunky sterling silver chain link bracelet I got from Tilly Sveaas. I feel myself leaning heavily towards wearing minimal, sleek yet edgy layered metals. The right jewelry set up just adds the perfect touch to any outfit. I’ve been on the lookout for new jewelry designers to help complete my collection and found this brand after a long search on Instagram.  All her pieces are so beautiful that it was hard to choose just one.  Every single piece is an ideal layering piece. I for sure will be adding more to the collection with time.

What do you think of my new pieces? Would you wear this outfit?

Thanks for reading and hope everyone had a great weekend!

xx Francesca
