Hotel Diary: My Stay at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun
Sharing a few photos and insights from our recent stay in Cancun at the fabulous Hyatt Zilara Cancun. It was a luxurious stay and much-needed downtime after such a crazy year. John and I went to spend three beautiful sun-soaked days there. We needed a good relaxing spot where we could chill in between some wedding festivities we had (step-sis got married woo!). I haven’t stayed in an all-inclusive hotel in forever, so I don’t have a whole lot to compare to (as far as all-inclusive hotels go), but I did thoroughly enjoy staying at this spot and recommend it. Keep reading to find out more about this hotel we stayed at in Cancun.
Arrival and First Impressions:
The moment I walked into Hyatt Zilara Cancun’s lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff was super-friendly and the check-in process was as smooth as butter. Thank god because we had a long day of travel and just needed some R&R. We were also welcomed by a fire dancer right there in the lobby –which immediately set the mood.
My room was way nicer than I expected. You never know right? Sometimes with hotel photos it canbe way smaller than it appears on the website, but in this case, the room was larger IRL. The view from my window was a view overlooking the pristine bright blue, crystal clear Caribbean ocean and a good view of the pool. Perfect, I love scoping out a good sunbathing spot before I go down to catch some rays.. The plush bedding, spacious layout, and thoughtful amenities created an atmosphere of luxury. My favorite part of all though? The in-room jacuzzi which fit two people (Honestly, you could fit four. It was so large). John and I ordered some room service (their club sandwich and their chicken soup is legit) and hopped right in after such a long travel day.
A Day of Relaxation:
Your girl loves a good pool/spa day! The infinity pools at Hyatt Zilara Cancun and their Spa is where it’s at. Seriously such a nice layout at the pool. Imagine lounging by the pool, cocktail in hand, with the Caribbean as your backdrop – pure bliss. We also had a moment to check out their spa and it was so plush. Check out the photos below.
Activities and Entertainment:
Although John and I kept it pretty chill, this hotel is perfect if you want to stay active and Party. There are water sports, spa/pool days, and nightly shows. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of things to do. Plus, those fire dancers from the lobby? Turns out, they host events like that regularly. Nightly entertainment right in the lobby – perfect if you don’t want to go out or taxi anywhere… or maybe if you just want to pre-game at your hotel.
They had stellar service, jaw-dropping views, and all-around good vibes which made my stay super relaxing and enjoyable. It’s pricey, but it does include everything you need. If you’re up for an all-inclusive tropical escape that checks all the boxes, this place is it.
