3 ways: black booties
Hey guys! So I would classify these Jeffrey Campbell Barnes Booties as heels but in the description it says “booties” so I’ll just roll with that. I guess technically they are booties with a giant cutout down the front. I wear these a lot. I mean… A. LOT. Black booties go with everything! The way to make them really elevate the whole outfit and not just be another black boot is to find an interesting cut or good texture. They look great dressed up but I love to try and dress heels down a bit so I can get away with wearing them on any given day. Here are the 3 ways I styled my black booties:
1. For the first look I am wearing the black booties my favorite way ever. With black faux leather pants. I love how bad ass this combo is and if you pair it just right it can almost look effortless. Like with this muscle tank I am wearing and bright red lips. Just the right amount of ankle cleavage changes the whole look also. Details!
2. For the second look I paired the boots with some loose fitted boyfriend jeans, a band tee and big coat (perfect for fall layers). Boyfriend jeans were made to be worn with statement heels so the right black bootie will look amazing with jeans like this. The ripped jeans and statement heels combo is always a winner.
3. I love wearing boots with short skirts and shorts. I always feel short so I love wearing tall heels with anything that shows off my legs. Here I am wearing some short faux leather shorts with a white vest to layer to Layer. Love white vests for transitioning into fall! Flirty, casual and not too serious.
OUTFIT DETAILS: Blank NYC shorts from Paris & Me boutique, Banana Republic tank, Forever 21 vest
Which one do you like the most? I’m going for the first just because this is something I would wear on any given day and I’m starting to really miss wearing these pants.
