More from NYFW / streetstyle
So… going to NY last minute is not the way you want to do NYFW at all! I planned/packed everything the day before, packed way too many shoes and not enough comfy flats. Oh also, there is no way I would be walking around the city all day in those heels (helllllll no). I stashed some flats in my purse and carried the heels in hand until we got to the shows. Truth be told there were many things I did wrong as a rookie during fashion week: like, somehow taking the wrong subway the complete opposite way right before a show and making an extremely nervous face when a large group of photographers gathered around to shoot photos of me . Seriously, I don’t know how people could ever get used to having multiple photographers at once (especially the girls that have more like a mob of photographers). I mean… so much to process! Do I look at the camera? Do I pretend I don’t see them? Do I just pose like its one photographer? too much information! Does. Not. Compute. (#minornervousbreakdown. It was all part of the experience though and all exciting and new for me.
I got to see Alice and Olivia which was beautiful! I really loved the all white looks the most (I’ve got my eye on those white silk jogging pants!!). I don’t know what was going on with the birds nested on tall-bunned hair but was also strangely into that as well. Highlights were finding lace trimmed silky shorts at H&M for super cheap, seeing my favorite fellow bloggers at Yigal Azrouel and spending a while at MAC listening to music while my iphone charged (Listening and enjoying just me and the music… away from all the crazy NY noise)
It’s too late now and I have no idea why I am up. I can hear John snoring in the room next door and its seriously making me jealous. I just really wanted to finally share these photos and NYFW street style looks with you 🙂 If you guys have any questions about what I’m wearing feel free to leave it in a comment below!
